Roll Over Advisory - Tanks

Did WWII tanks such as the tiger REALLY have such a high center of gravity?  I rolled one today on side of hill the control tower sits on - that isn't a very steep hill.  Didn't die or anything ( got "safe landing" message) but it is annoying.

Wait until your tiger clips a tree and it flips. Hate to say this, yet it
appears that there is no intrest to fix any gv code. I guess cuz the
"Horde" says this is a flt sim, and they will let you know that you
should be flying, not driving.

I rolled a Tiger last night and Sabata was driving a M3 with vehicle supplies, he dropped supplies for me and it turned me rightside up.

Rolled 3 panzers...one hit a tree, other hit a wall and then barley caught the side of a hill (not steep) and whoops over on the ole top.

Dunno, but the flippy trees are damn irritating.  I hope they fix them.

A few well placed rockets from a Tiffie should roll over a Tiger nicely ;-)

I find GVs to be a nice change of pace.
I have alot of fun in em.

I take particular delight in shooting down planes using the main gun on my tank.

I actually find it easier sometiems then using an OSTI
And I KNOW its gotta piss the pilot off

And anything that pisses an enemy off makes me a very happy guy :D

I try not to hit trees at high speed. I find at lower speeds I just tend to bounce back a little where the higher speeds make me flip. So I drive safely near the big trees.

One thing I woud like ot see.. or hear as the case may be.
Is when a tank is moving through forest or over the smaller trees and shrubs the cracking and crunching sounds of limbs snapping under the weight of the tank.
Would be a nice effect I think.

Hmm doesnt this thread belong somewhere else?

In the end you should be thankful for those players like us who switch to try and help keep things even because our willingness to do so, helps a more selfish, I want it my way player, get to fly his latewar uber ride.

what i dont understand is how a 500lb bomb could make such a massive crater yet panzers can somehow survive it! HTC does have a point at the flying part but the make the flak actually take damage from a plane!
