Overclocking isnt very smart, sure it can be done, but only if you are prepared to buy components more often.  Best bet is to make sure the system you have is optimized to perform its' best under standard clocking.  On the power supply, a stable power supply is a MUST!  There are plenty of great brands... I pay a bit more, but when I can, I use Antec.

That is your opinion. Not Smart?  I OC'd my $90 CPU to the speed of one that cost over $400 at the time and it has been totally stable.  By the time this CPU dies, it will be time for upgrade anyway or at worst I replace it and I still spent less than half what someone did buying a 3200+.  My RAM is underclocked and the AGP and PCI bus speed is locked so no danger there.  I am running stock voltages so I doubt there is any more strain on my Antec 480 PSU than with a 3200+.  I really doubt that OCing is really that taxing on Rosco's PSU either.  I do agree with you on the Antec PSUs but I thought Enermax was also pretty good; though I have never had one.

ive been ocing since k-6 days  so i know what im doing ..
and this 2500+ I oced right from the git go ... 2.0 ghz for the burn in ,then up to 2.2

imo ,yes the enermax is a great stable powersupply so far . (i ran out a bought one , the 420watt noisetaker )

one of the power supplys i popped was my old 380 antec .. It was in my old soyo dragon machine that was oced to hell and back . so i guess it may have been tired ... so i tossed in a new generic 400 watt i had laying around and it popped that one in about 3 days .. (note i was only at 11 x 200  2.2ghz at the time)

6guns must be an intel guy .. (I wont hold it against ya though) :D

I was just asking about the enermax power supplys because i never owned one befor and it was 25 bucks cheaper then the 430 antec that I couldnt get til tommorrow ..
