Back in AH1 in the DA we had "God Mode" where you could get out of the tower and fly around with  your joystick at the speed of light. Or almost. :)

It was a very nice feature which was often used to watch fights.

Now with AH2 we no longer have this useful feature. :(

Would it be posible to get it back again?

It came in handy if you wanted to watch a fight from a nearly any and all angles without being inside one of the planes. And it was fun to zoom around with also. :)

Here are a few features applicable to rider's in the DA, TA, to an extent MA and film viewer I'd love to see implemented at some point:

"Riders"

1. see full working instrument data of plane they joined, especially flaps and throttle (rpm/manifold).

2. ability to "slave" rider's views to driver's so they can see how the driver is looking around. (in MA, too would be nice for SA training)

3. tracer visibility, right now the rider cannot see the driver firing if tracers are enabled.

4. external views while a rider and god's eye as mentioned.

5. ability to film - it used to be (still?) when a rider tried to film he may only get film of the tower.

I'm sure I forgot something, if i remember, i'll edit it in later.

"Gods Eye" still works.  It requires that it be turned on in the arena.

Its turned off Easy... Therefore it doesnt work at the moment. :)

This would be most excellent if HTC could implement these ideas

A couple other things that would be nice in the film viewer.

1) the ability to actually take control and fly in the fillm. This allows you to see how to correct mistakes or learn new maneuvers while watching someone else's film.

2) the ability to create a drone that flys the exact same flight path as the original plane. Again, this helps learn new manuevers.

AirWarrior had both of these features in their film viewer, although not many people realized it. I found both features very useful.

I cant get it on in H2H or offline either. I set it to on in the Arena Setup....but it always reverts to original settings when i close the setup window.

AH has a film viewer and you can shoot peps down in it??

haha! I hear that in the film viewer is  the only way to get a fair kill on that kappa fella..

Press F5 when in tower to access god's eye.  

Press and hold buttons 1, 2, and 3 on your stick.  In my setup, 2 is forwards, 3 is backwards, and 1 is a top-down view.  To move in either direction, adjust your throttle to the desired speed.  Fly like you normally would :)
