Only 1 killshoot for me with guns, but lost count of the number of times bombing has resulted in an abrupt end to the sortie.

In favour of it in general, maybe just a little tweaking is all. No matter you call your target and that bombs are coming in, there's a good chance some guy's gonna cross their path on a strafe.

I do not bomb towns because of KS....be it dive bombing in a mossie, or level bombing in a Lanc...its a sure fire way to die as 20 other planes blissfully straif the town as the scream over vox about needing someone to drop bombs.

Once every few months....

I completely dislike the kill-shoot because it always happens to me because someone flies threw my plane to steal my kill. Also i dont like hearing people purposely fly into someones bullets, doesnt seem right.

I've been kill shootered twice this week alone. Both times was when I was firing on an enemy plane and some goofball flew into my tracer stream. (I have tracers ON btw) Both times I let go of the triggers, but bullets that were already in the air killed me.

I tryed flying with tracers off, but got kill shootered so many times that I turned them back on.

*edit* oops, forgot to answer a couple things. 1) I dislike kill shooter because to often if penalizes the wrong person. 2) I generally fly alot of hours, especially since I sold my Everquest account for cash.

about 10 times in 16months i think....but then 3 of them was AR234s on take off, firing the RATO's and the rear facing cannons................

have to say not too often and most times when i kill shoot ill know already that im gonna hit a friendly so ill let off the guns.

besides i fire in quick bursts of mabey 1-2 second bursts so even if i do hit a friendly it doesnt do to much damage.

but i like the kill shooter, nothing like being the closest plane on a enemy's tail and haveing rounds flying over your head from the 5 friendlys behind you trying to steal a kill, and knowing all you have to do is just pull up a bit into his stream to get him off your back:D

I can't think of any one certain way i've been k/s. It's happened trying to clear nme's off friendly buff formations, they go boom, and my bullets keep going into the buffs. A couple times maybe dropin' an egg on a town w/ a friendly gv 2 close (that was more AH1 when bomb splash dmg was greater). A few times saddled up on an nme, and friendly zooms infront of me.

I've shot squadies and killshot myself 2many times to remember.

K/S never has bothered me much.

I cant remember the last time I killshootered with bullets. I get one once or twice every couple tours with the vulch...err i mean ground attack rockets.

Have no major problem with it, but I did like PNG better.

only once recently; in a 262 of all things, lobbed a few 30 mm rounds out and saw a friendly come into sight picture; 1 hit sprite and I was in tower....oh well

Ok yes someone is firing over your shoulder trying to steal your kill, that doesnt mean you should fly into their bullets.....i dont recall the last time Dick Bong and Thomas Mcquire did that.

i dont feel thats a reason to keep kill-shoot.

without it you might loose a few kills a month but its better then losing a kill to some arse that flies past you into your bullets, stealing your kill and in the process getting you killed....

kill shoot = Lose the kill, 1 death
No kill shoot = Kill friendly, get the kill and dont die.

i like the 2nd one better.
