What is the procedure / protocol for flying in a H2H arena?

It seems the ones I looked at were for squad members only, etc.

Do you start off in the air and then dogfight?  Or do you take off from fields?  

Is it 1 on 1, 4 vs 4 or free for all?

It all depends on the host of the arena, unfortunatly most hosts these days are dweebs.

To expand on BDs' reply, guys host the setup they like.

This usually means unlimited ammunition and fuel. :(  Also, external views even in fighters. .:mad:  Lots of crutches.

FFA means Free For All.  Fast action but watch for the perk planes.

On weekends, there's usually a better selection of rooms then durring the week.  Best advice would be if you want a room and you have a fast connection, host it yourself with the setup you like.  Leave it running for a week and chances are it will start to fill up.

Search in the Free Multiplayer forum for arena settings and dot commands.
