I'm looking forward to v2.01's release more than any version since v1.08's release.  Even more than v2.00's release.

Look at it this way, we're getting the first new units added to AH since v1.11 which was released on 12-16-02.

Further, we're getting the first units modeled to AH2 standards and three units that are all MA suitable.  I am looking forward to playing with all three of them. A lot.

We're getting shiny, sparkly (oooo, sparkly) water and who, besides HTC, knows what other fixes and changes.

I think this is going to be a very fun release.

I too, am looking forward to 2.01.  That B-24 sure is puuuuuuuurdy.

I look forward to the B-24's eight thousand pound bomb load.  It will become my favorite buff if it isn't too flimsy, especially the wings.  I trust its ammo load will be about the same as the B-17's.

Perhaps there will be a strategic bombing renaissance.

I would not be at all surprised if some changes to the heavy bomber models did not show up in v2.01.  Pyro mentioned that he had probably been over generous in their ability to do hard manuvers without suffering a structural failure. HiTech was also interested in then limitations on the bomb bays, so we might see changes due to that.

Good chance of a whole lot of skins going with the release also. Skuzzys processing for review. Between oboe, nomde and I you can count on at least ten new Jug skins.

I'm sure Skull and United are right...the B-24 will become an excellent suicide dive bomber.

At least when they are used for "on the deck" attacks it will be like the Ploesti mission, so my historical sensitivity won't be too upset.

United--

Thanks for the info on the load out.  Too bad it can't carry 16 x 500.  Eight thousand pounders just isn't as useful sixteen five-hundred pounders.
