Anyone that believes Kerry is more fiscally responsible or savvy will deserve what they get should he win.

I find this statment extremely funny and .. well, it doesn't matter what else..

Considering Bush has run up the largest defecit in presidential history and increased the national debt more than ever in American history, I find it very hard to believe Kerry could do worse..

IIRC the charges were filed in Japan and related to the use of DU rounds (basically our own version of the nuclear 'dirty weapon' we were wanned the enemy could use on us).  as far as I've been able to tell he never answered the charges.

didn't klinton flunk out of the rhodes scholar program?

curly doesn't want a moron for president... I would say that I don't want an effete, liberal socialist, cloistered intelectual for president.

I am curious as to exactly what Kerry's GPA was in college.

Anyone know of any hard data?

I'm not opposed to spending money on the right thing. Reagan spent a lot to defeat the Soviet Union. Money well spent compared to the cost in lives a war may have cost later. Liberty and democracy in the middle east will pay dividends to our grandchildren and their grandchildren.

Physical scientists make poor politicians.  They have little interest (or use) for people.  College profs/admins (-physical scientists) frequently show up in politics.  Woodrow Wilson?

Surely the above category would be better than someone who was binge drinker (read drunk) until his 40s.  Each drunk costs you approximately 1,000 neurons (so I've read.)  Old Georgie is short a bushel basket of neurons. :)

So...klinton did not finish the program so he really isn't a rhodes scholar after all?   Not that I really want one running things anyway.... for the most part our politicians are not made up of scholars and scientists... for good reason.... scholars and scientists have their heads up their butts.

To me it looks like klinton and Bush were doing about the same things but Bush was doing a better job.   If you could stand to listen to him klinton was a better speaker tho.
