Do you have photo evidence of the yellow outlined roundel on the top wing United?

As it's supposed to be a June 44 bird, everything I know tells me it should be just the plane blue and red upper wing roundel.  No yellow outline or white inner ring as those didn't show until the very end of the war, well intol 1945.

The wing D-Day stripes seem to be missing a white stripe as well and look too narrow overall for the wing.

I do not have evidence of that.  I made an assumption as to what the roundel should look like.  I'll be sure to go back and change it in the editing stages.  I'll also go and fix the D-Day stripes.

Thanks!

Very nice united very nice! some big scratches would nice and for the feul stains on the wing, i think it would look nicer if u make it as wide as the cap cause i dont think it spilled in a narrow place. 2 more things some gun soot and from the pictures it looks like some of the exhaust would go over the wings so i was thinking some light exhaust soot on the front of the wing would look awesome! I like the evasion stripes! WTG

Guppy, how does this look?

thebest, I'll start working on that ASAP.  I'm gonna get a little bit more feedback before I change anything else.  I too did not like the way I did the oil and gas streaks.

Looks much better.  The only thing that caught my eye was the center red circle on the wing looks just a tad large.

Purely a first impression but might be worth comparing to a photo somewhere of an upper wing rounde.

Do you think I could compare it to a Spit wing roundel?  I do believe (though im probably wrong) that they were the same?  I cant seem to find a picture of a RAF TBM that shows the roundel.

Just use a Spit upper wing roundel, I believe that they were all 'supposed' to be the same size. I'm sure Dan can shed light on it.

Went back and changed the roundels as well as some oil and gas streaks.

I also decided to make an RAF cockpit.  Pretty simple, just exchange US guages with British ones.

Only thing I need to do is readjust the numbers on the RPM guage.

This explains it as well as anywhere I've seen.

Excellent.  After looking this over it seems I missed a few things.

Thanks!
