Runs off of hydrogen peroxide and silver.  Emits water vapor.  Pretty neat.

Early-50s. Soviet Army manoeuvres. Artillerists show a veteran general their newest missile.

General: "Great. Great. You say this missile can destroy a whole city? What did you say, you fuel it with 4 tons of ethanol?! Give the spirit to my warriors - and they'll take this city in one hour!"

If this takes on, it's good news for the silver market.

In the past, the number one user of silver on the planet was Kodak. Now that digital photography has become so popular, I imagine that the silver demand by the photographic industry has declined.

The Germans experimented with running submarines and torpedo with Hydrogen Peroxide. The type xxi sub from the end of the war was originally designed to run on H202. It was designed as two cylinders one sitting on top of the other, the bottom one was supposed to hold the fuel.

Tremendous speeds were possible from the fuel the only problems was so much was needed the sub would have a very limited range. As it was they took the space made for the fuel and filled it with batterys and that is what they went to production with.

It would be good news for the entire world.

One drawback I can see is that concentrated H2O2 is nasty stuff.  Makes gasoline look like baby oil.
