All,

Searching for this info shows results that are YEARS old, so I'm checking for current info:

How much ordinance is required to kill a VH, along with the FH and BH, at an airfield? How much to kill a VH at a Vehicle Base? The Port?

yes, the 5inch rockets count as 160 lbs i believe

am not 100% certain of the full series of tests had very
inequal results. The value shown is the maximum damage
inflicted per round. I suspect that the variance is caused
by a bug in the burst dispersion code.
#1 Testing for the GV main guns and rockets was different.
I fired 1 round into a hanger and constantly tweaked the
hanger's damage resistence until I found the maximum single
round damage.
#2 The Main Guns on the Cruisers fire 3 shells at a time
each shell does 250lbs to 500lbs of damage. If all 3 hit then the
target just took 750lbs to 1500lbs of damage. The damage is scaled by range 250lbs at maximum range, 500lbs at point blank, 390lbs at 6400 yards.

i can kill any hangar in 1 pass with a 110's bombs.

that is 2 500kg bombs, and 4 50kg bombs

im too lazy to do the math but im pretty sure you will find that is about 2650lbs

this will work every time if all bombs hit

Fighter hangers and VH's are the same. Same goes for bomber hangers. They MUST be 2600 or LESS. Knowing that a P51 carries 2 thousands with 6 rockets of 100lbs each. - I can easily take down a fighter/bomber/vehicle hanger down in ONE pass.

So it must be 2600 pounds or less.

SO if you do the math properly assuming all hangers take 2600lbs. You need .... 15,600 for a small airfield, 18,200 for a medium field, and 31,200 lbs for a large airfield (the last one may be a little off)

I concur on the 2600lbs. I take out hangers in P38 in one pass with 2 x 1000lbs bombs and 4 x 5" rockets which is 2624lbs of ordinance.
