He got that sparkling water effect nailed in this screen shot, nicely toned down and much more realistic than the demo video HiTech posted!!

Pongo how old is that and what game?

Aces of the pacific.  1992? Done by a company called dynamix. Probably the best box art ever put on a video game. A beautifly painting of a corsiar flying towards a huge thunderhead.

Dynamix made some awesome games. Red Baron, Aces of the Pacific and Aces over Europe.

They were published by Sierra, another great company back in the day.

Pongo - do I have to remind you of your Confidentiality Agreement?  And not to be posting screenies I email you?  Now all the other game companies will send industrial spies our way :(  There's a guy from iD outside my window now wanting pixel shading tips for Doom4.

I still got the Aces over Europe manual, wat a splendid
job they did on that, Good interesting Historie section
in the first half, Beautiful color drawings of all the aircraft and
easy to understand flying lessons in last half. I even read
the first part now and then.

Now if I could only tempt someone to part with their old manual of Aces of the pacific, I just love those clear colorful aircraft Pics.
