The limits of the typed word. Since there is no voice inflection, body language etc.
The folks that you say want to kick your arse.... I would be willing to bet that if you called them the lame etc etc to their face while playing a sport... you'd get your arse kicked.
Some folks don't care for trash talk.
It's like the folks who drive around with bumper stickers on their car that says "You Suck". Then wonder why their car gets keyed.
You do something that puts yourself in someone's face... either verbally, physically, etc. Don't be surprised if some folks react.
You don't want someone angry with you, stop acting in a manner that is designed to make them angry.
My opinion of course...
