CT has been a dissapointment in my few trys there. Constantly fighting 3 or 4 guys at once wingin together. Id kill one or two of them and they just would reup and enter fight again cherrypicking me while im engaged with the remainder of the group. Seemed like a mini MA to me. Lotta hangin out at 5k and waitin for me to try and up as well.

CT is turning into a joke. It's the MA with a limited planeset. Was in there for the late war, no land grab map. Object was for the ALlies to bomb France and the LW to try and stop them. For the little over an hour i was in their, i saw 2, count it, 2, planes actually try to bomb something. Otherwise it was a bunch of alt monkey, cherry picking Typh dweebs (except Shane and a few others). That just the latest example. I've seen similar behavior on other maps like Fin-Rus and Romania.

CT is like vegitarian food... very bland and boring, but every so offten( not very offten) you find somthing you like..

bs

yip 3 of us JBz came to the CT and upped P38's and were doing pretty good until we started getting called MprettythangHoles and told to basicly leave the CT

Always an a-hole in every crowd. Dont let one a-hole represent the whole community. Otherwise who would fly the MA? ( which i do fly and like just fine) You sell that fire gear yet JB35?:D

Here's what I found. Climb to 28K, dive 15k, attempt a face shoot, and run. Rinse and repeat. This isn't just one or two opponents. In the 4 hops I took, on two diff sides, the only guy who "fought" me, was due mainly to the fact he couldn't "run" from me.

total bs. name a time this week when you can stop by and ill prove you wrong.

CT needs more people, then it would be a great place to fight.

yep:aok

Sounds like you needed a wing man. Drop back in , Ill wing with you and we can kill them all.:aok

It was? According to who?

  Wheeeeewww..... pluuuuueeeeeeeezz.
You want tof force people to go to the CT? What in the H for? If people want to go there they do. If they don`t they don`t. That would just plain suck IMHO.

Hmm, I think CT just needs more squads in there.  Then it would be a blast.

Best way to learn is to get spanked.. ;)

Once you learn to avoid the spanking its your first steps towards learning to deal out a good dose of spankin your self.. ;)

Getting 3 wingman and picking on solo planes 4 to one is bad enough..reupping and going for the cherry is worse. Granted thats what you expect in the MA no doubt..its smart flying. I thought this thread was about ct being something different.

Well the idea I had behind this thread was to put aside for 1 night week, all the base grabbing and the style of play that goes with that, to more mission based play. Someone could declare certain targets, the targets of the night. Players would nominate their commanders, and missions with group leaders would form. CAP would mean something and action at 25k would be commonplace.

The gameplay would lean towards survival and if the target was destroyed, rather than who owns what base. Keep in mind Im talking cross channel bomber runs in the historic euro map, or a similar pacific map if there is one.

No need to close the MA for this. Only thing that would do is lose more paying customers.
Sounds like you`re leaning towards TODamiteism. :D
As far as I`m concerned base capture is what it`s all about. To me it`s what makes the game tick and make it worth playing. Without it, to me, it would be one big circus of an arcade style game. There arei hundreds of shootem ups out there which is just that type. No start, no finish, no means, no ends.
With base capture stlye play comes the furballs. It also has something for the bomber pilot, the JABO pilot, the GVer........a little something for everyone.
