Everyone needs to watch "Off To War" on the Discovery/Times channel. http://times.discovery.com/convergence/offtowar/offtowar.html
It's an excellent documentary about members of the 39th Brigade of the Arkansas National Guard and their families. The words you hear are from the soldiers and their families. No commentators pushing a political agenda, no spin, no talking points. Just the soldiers POV.

If you want to see what is actually happening to American troops on the ground in Iraq, and their families back at home, watch this show.

I think there are 12 episodes spanning the 18 months the 39th Brigade have been called to duty. Only 3 have aired and they are very, very good.

I have seen that video almost hundreds of time that I have few friends on that video.

BTW I'm from Arkansas and I believe that 39th Brigade of ARK National Guard is in Little Rock/North Little Rock.

This is heart breaking. Having somewhat been in these guys boots (being deployed away from your family). Shows alot of the human impact of what's goin on and how things are effected back home.

Is the dicovery/time channel the same as jus the discovery channel? I only get that.

I would liked to have seen this but I saw no advertisments for it. I didnt wait any TV last night.

Maybe it will come out on DVD?

No, Discovery/Times channel is only on digital cable or satelite. If you get Discovery Wings, you should also get Discovery/Times.
Rafe said he has seen it before, so it may be on DVD somewhere.

I have digital cable. They do not carry discovery wings as far as I have ever been able to find.
