clearing AAA
« on: November 22, 2000, 04:49:00 PM »
I made a short film demonstrating how to clear AAA by straffing. i used a Vehicle field for the demo, but the same principles apply for other fields. It gets more difficult as the fild gets bigger, ie small, medium... just because there are more gun emplacements shooting at you. anyway it is very basic, Caveman was my inspiration here, he posted a film very similar months ago. Thx CAvey

Nice  .

I find V-fields easy - just come in at 10k dive to take out vh with bombs, and then level strafe the acks.

Airfields I find hard - and usually do it with the rest of my squad.

Tell ya what. I'll film an attempt to straff down a small field. I did it yesterday in the TA in me trusty P-47. Then tried it in a FW 190A-8, Don't know if its that the cone of fire isn't as dense or what, but it was much more difficult. Could be that I just dont ever fly that rattle trap ANyway, I'll do it and film it and post it here.
