I'm starting to get comfortable in the P-38 again once I got over learning the new flight model in here.  As a result, I'm starting to get more kills but primarily from E fighting and BnZ attacks and not turn fighting like I used to do in Air Warrior.  It would be helpful if some of the dedicated P-38 drivers in here have any films that I could watch.

Use throttle/rudder/flaps/dive flaps to control dive speed...and manual trim. Use lag turns as you boom down. When you zoom out and need to out climb your foe a shallow zoom is better as the 38 climbs like a scalded monkey in a shallow climb.

 Practice practice practice and get use to dieing... I do it alot but not as often as I did.

 Several great 38 jockies to pesture for film. TAC(He never remember to film anything... HEAR THAT TAC WHERE IS MY FILM!!!), Rob53, MrWulf and recently Vati66 (all my squadies and having a hell of a tour in 38 this time.). Fester is a master in the 38. Animal is also a damn good 38 jockey. I might be missing one or two here but there's your pesture list for film.

 I'd send you film but I t/b my 38 alot...and I consider myself average to good at best.

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

xbat, if you want the films I can send you all 287 films I have. Sifting through them is not playtime  ;)

hey Ack-Ack send me some of dem filmz.

I have been toying with the 38 in here also. It is nothing like the AW Bird we flew, alas nothing in here is like AW   :D  The 38 is a smooth ride in here and shows some promise.

I'm finding out the P-38 can do everything we made it do in AW and much, much more.  The only problem that I'm having now is flaps, they take more time to deploy in here it seems.

I'll send you any films that I can muster up.

 I'm an AW refugee,and I'd like to see how someone who has played AH for some time flies the 38.

i.e. speed vs.
       51    slower  :eek:
       f6    faster  :cool:

     turn  vs.
       51    better  :)
      zero   pray    :confused:

etc...
