The past 2 days have been my worst ever in ah.

I was away from AH for 15 days but when I came back everything seemed as it was.

Day 1 I went 9-1 (auger) in fighters and 9-0 in attack.

Yesterday and Today I'm 2-9 and 4-3 in attack. I can't hit toejame I dunno whats going on. I get in stupid situations with now way out. I lost any "instinct" I may have had. The easiest kills escape me and my SA while good going in suffers from my frustration at my inability to finish the kill.

Anyway the with every dum bass move the fun is drained out of me.

I tell my self its a slump and that it can be "worked through" but its painful and to a degree embarrasing.

Just need a few words of encouragement I guess dunno why this post..............

A new Joystick would perk you right up.

But I know how you feel, right after 1.08 came i felt like I couldnt fly anymore, always looking over my shoulder for that me262 or Mossie to screaming down on my Typhoon. Then I started worrying that my frames rates were slowing me down.  Anyway, you'll adjust back, just lossen up and dont try to force it and you'll get it back.  Me I'm just going to go right on flying and be somebodies target practice.

In the same spot, been having a rough tour to beguin with & 1.08 just made it worse.

Like you stupid mistakes, augers, compression, have had one good sortie in fighter out of maybe 20 in the last 3 days.

Just can't seem to get the "feel" or get back in the groove.

PS probably isn't helping that after 30 years I'm quiting smoking.

Cheer up guys.  I'm just starting out in MA after quitting H2H for a few months and subscribing.  Believe me, any slump you all may be having is nothing compared to mine.   ;)  Cheer up and enjoy shooting me down, ghosth certainly does.  :D

Remember, the secret to feeling better is that somewhere, someone is having a worse day than you... (j/k btw)

God, I feel your pain.  I haven't been able to hit the broad side of a barn for a few days, gets sorta old quick.  Have missed out on a couple kills (and have gotten killed) because of this crap shooting phase I'm going through.  I even had a moron dweeb newbie tell me I needed 'shooting lessons'.  I will say I got a little more hot under the collar at that than I should have, although I should have told him I'd take him to the DA and give him flying lessons.

On the bright side, I seem to be pulling out of the slump to a degree.  I'm not shooting much better, but I scare a lot of people into the ground after I ping em a couple times  :)

Wotan, it will not last forever.

Had a bad start this tour, lost 8 D9s in the 1st 2 days while killing only 3 guys.  :D

Its just a game, maybe u should do something u dont do often in AH like vehicle attacks (i know bad with mindanao map) or fly crazy stuff like long range ack and convoi killing behind nme lines in a G10 at tree top altittude. I can tell u that is much fun.

Funny ya should mention that, my skill usually declines the first couple o weeks with a new stick... I also PRE-ordered a TM Cougar yesterday so late November, early December my flyin' is really gonna hit the toejamter.

Wotan dont worry. Good time and bad times...
I know very well how much it could annoyance if you cant get a shot when you are enemy's deep 6 about d100-200 a way.

Low level turn fights end way too offen to "ground mode" and Take off's remind more limp&blind dancer in crystall shop.

It goes a way just loose it up

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

BTW, the gunsight change has affected me big time.  I'm getting it now, but having the sight move with your head bob just screwed me up royally.  I guess I was used to compensating for that in the past... and I couldn't hit a damned thing for the first few runs in 1.08.  It's coming around now for me but it takes some getting used to.

Ease up, relax, and do something different.  Try train hunting, driving M8's or something.  Have some fun, and most of all forget about your score!
