Patch 11 problems

My frame rate has become unsat w/patch 11, AND, it changed all if my sounds!!!. I am now skipping frames,, and dropping <10 FPS when fighting.. If just in normal flight and looking aroun, I run 17-28 FPS.  Also. I can not use windows key now.. When I do, I get disco and it sends a message to Microsoft about the error.. Never did that before.. Need help please!!!
 
Wish HT had a way to place game load on video card OR CPU....It appears that I now only use 53mg of my video mem now..

There should not have been any performance changes, unless ou disable "Hardware Vertex Processing" in the video setup for the game.

performance changes were HUGE for me Skuzzy with patch 11.

I am running:

WinXp Pro sp1
Athlon 2000
FX5700LE 128
Audigy sound
512m ram

yes   is there anyway of upping the amount of mb's your graphics card uses when having textures preloaded into them?
i have a 256mb vid card and its only using 50-70mb and using up to 200mb of my system memory(with preloaded into vid)
is there anyway of balancing this out?
or could you give an option in the video settings that would optimize the mb used for these cards
128 256 etc
im sure u could use at least 150mb of a 256 card?
