Ok, I recently purchased a CH Throttle Quad and I can calibrate/use/detect it in Windows.

In AH, the AH joystick stick panel knows it is there but it will not register any movement of any of the axis, nor buttons. I've recalibrated it inside AH but still without any success.

I'm inclined to believe its a problem with AH (considering it works fine everywhere else), but did I set up something wrong?

Have you mapped the throttle in the "Select Joystick" setup in Aces High II?

If you have multiple joysticks, you will need to manually configure them. As an example, I will explain how to correctly setup rudders in Aces High.

Start Aces High and go to the "Offline" option from the clipboard.

1) Press "Setup" from the clipboard.
2) Press "Joystick".
3) Press "Select Joystick"
4) Select "Rudder" from the "AH Control" list.
5) Make sure the rudders are selected in the center section
6) Make sure the "Z-Axis" is selected in the right input section
7) Press the "Set Input" button.

If you loaded any control software for the pedals, make sure it is not loaded when you start Aces High, as Aces High will properly detect the pedals and the software will interfere with proper operations.

The above works for every axis, stick, and/or mode joysticks operate in.

One thing I forgot to mention, AH doesn't show the change in axis in either mapped or direct mode. I've rebooted, unplugged, reinstalled the Throttle Quad with the same end result; it works in windows, it shows in AH, but doesn't show any change in the axis in AH.

I was too hesitant to switch to a joystick that didn't register within AH. Really strange that it only registered after switching to it.

Ok, everything is working great except for ONE thing.

I've mapped throttles, RPMs and pitch and roll to a throttle slider apeice. However, I can't get the full movement out of the trim sliders when I use the throttle axis sliders in place of a keyboard trim.

I've selected, reselected, calibrated and checked my control software for something that would fix it, without success. I can only get the top (or the bottom half, when I 'invert' it) but nothing more.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using CH's Control Manager software to configure the device? Make sure that the axis' are not set to centered. Then go into the calibrate function of CM and make sure you have full motion on these axis.

CM may default the X & Y axis' to centered as this would be the default for a joy stick.
