Until we know how it has been modeled it is pointless to say.

It could be as bad as merely an above average fighter for AH, or on the other end it could be a tremendously dominating fighter.  It all depends on how it is modeled.

Wait and see.

Then, after you see, wait for the dust to settle and for people to get used to it before you decide if you need to advocate for it to be perked.

Personally I dont see how it could be...at best its on a par with a pony/D9/la-7. Basically its a mid 1944 plane...almost everything I read gives topend of 388-392. Certainly not a slouch if it handles as well as expected but not a "double positive" against the above mentioned birds either. I seriously doubt it'll overwelm the arena like the C-hog did...specially if its a 2x20mm 2x12.7 version....

There's no way it can be perked when it's new.  There would  be a riot, if people in cyber-space could riot.

If the Ki-84 turns out to be uber, then it will get perked.  Historically the Hayate / Frank could outclimb a P-51 and out-turn a Spitfire, so "uberness" will depend on what top speed HTC gives it, I suppose.

For the record, I think the D-Pony, 190-D, and La-7 should all cost a few perks, along with some others, like the 109G-10.

should carry the same perk value as the F4U1C, outside of the P51D having 50 cals, every plane above walks away from the F4U1C under 15k or so, and can easily run the F4U1C down. Also the F4U1C is easy to kill unless the pilot flying it knows how to fly it!

the Ki-84 should not be perked for at least 3 to 6 months, not even then if it is not warranted

No reason to perk it when planes like the P-51D, G-10, D-9, La-7 is unperked.

No need to perk -- like George, Frank is another fun to fly super Zeke with excellent climb and agility plus four 20mm but not great speed.
