As a left leaning gun owner, I would dissagree Rip. I'm not rich nor famous and I own quite a few handguns as well as long guns. Nobody has challenged my ownership of either.

Making blanket smears like this shows the influence that freeperville has on your reasoning....IMO.

But Moore's connection to the NRA is bizarre; he told Tim Russert that he joined the group so that he could be elected its president and make it support gun control. mt... he was probly smarter at age twelve.   You do know that the NRA sells lifetime memberships right?   In the movie bowling he tells Heston that he is a lifetime member.    If he was a lifetime member at 12 then my guess is someone else paid his way (bout 300 bucks) soo... he probly has a relative that is into firearms freedoms (or was).
