all sarcasm aside...i really would like to become an endorsed trainer. and really would do it without the free account. would any of you guys happen to have Lephturns Email? or who else would i contact to become one?

and i appologize for my original post. now that i read it...it does sound a little harsh. it wasnt intended to be that way.

Nimitz S!,

Couldn't agree more.

I applied for Trainer to Lephturn (by mail and personal msg) as well,  but not even an response!
I used to be in the TA allot (before 4 months) and helping out plp that needed it without being an official trainer. Lately I pop in only once in a while. I don't like what the TA has become since the large influx of players.
If I want to train with somebody I rather go to the DA at the moment.
With the exception of a few (Ghosth, S!) I hardly ever see a trainer in the TA. I would have thought that with the large influx of players and an average of about 15-20 plp in the TA, there would be more attention to the TA by all those official trainers.

I suggested already twice in this BBS to post a list of Trainers with e-mail addresses (e.g. as part of the opening anouncement of the TA) or somewhere on the main page of HT. Because it is for many plp still a problem to get hold of a trainer. This should be obvious by all the posts in this forum lately and by the many plp asking for a trainer in the MA.

Anyway for anybody that needs help, although I'm not an official trainer, If you want help e-mail me at j_apar@hotmail.com

Guys,
I do apologise if this post has come across a little harsh, like others here now that I read it again it does seem a little strong. So that I do apologise for and ask if you guys can forgive me for that. Was having a bit of a bad day. So again I apologise.

You guys also have to understand that I fly in the European time zone. So a lot of the guys that don't fly in that time won't really see me. I agree with a lot of you as in the training corps is in a bit of a mess. But it's in the process of being fixed.

The point of view that I was trying to put across was that I can't be avalable all the time. It's just not possible. at the moment 90% of my flying is done in the training arena just so I can be there to sort things out for people who are around and also occasionaly sort out some of the many player based problems that are caused from the training arena. It really bugs me when I see a post playing down what we do. Because to be honest there ain't a lot of us and those of us we are put a lot of time into trying to help people.

I am not trying to play us up. Because to be honest all we are is just a bunch of pilots who have been flying here for a while trying to help other people of our own backs. It really vex's me when people come out with messages like

If your a trainer and someone asks for help, go to the TA promptly.

If your a trainer and you get a free account, and someone asks for help, you best get your bellybutton TO THE TA ASAP.

If you don't like people squeaking because there's no trainers available....tough. Fix it.

This does not help anybody. It just up's the anger in conversations because you are trying to coment on something that you have not experienced.

As I said, we are looking for trainers. PLEASE anybody who thinks they are up to the challange email me. I will put you forward because we need good people and pilots who are willing to help the community.

And Viper, my message was harsh but not that harsh mate. You know who I am, you fly in the training arena and I have seen you around. Please don't try and make a bad situation worse.

I am just trying to do my job like a lot of other people. I just do what I think is right, if you guys disagree with that then fine. That's your problem.

If the fact that I don't pay subscription troubles some of you then fine. Hell, I am happy to pay. I never asked not to have to pay, and if not paying means that I am unable to fly my own missions in the MA and not be able to go into the main arena without being obliged to train somebody when I am trying to relax then fine. I am happy to do that.

Yes, for those who asked we are starting to pull together some sort of training roster so you will know when we are going to be in the arena.

Again I apologise for the harshness of my message.

some seeming to stem from not being accepted into the Training Staff.

It wasn't meant to be an outright accusation, just saying that's how it was looking to someone (me, in this case) reading the thread.

I'm glad I was wrong in that perception with you and the others that have said something for the tone of their posts.

S! BT & Nifty.  BT, I hope you are getting a free account.  This is no easy undertaking you have on your shoulders.  And I definitely think you should be able to live your life in the MA as you please.  Putting up with people like Ghosth in and of itself is enough to warrant your free account!  :D

The frustrating part of this situation for quite a few of us, is that we want to be trainers, have contacted Lephturn, sent in the info requested and....

...heard absolutley nothing.

Well if Nimitz has to have his WIFE fight his fights for him I'm sure I don't need to rub his nose in it!

Better go find some bleeding heart liberal firm to work for panzy boy!   :)

Tumour,
Out of interest do you enjoy provoking people? That is what you are doing, some people here are trying to be constructive and you are just lowering the level of the conversation so some witless sarcastic sandbox type of conversation pubescent teenagers would have.

Please, I ask you that if you don't have something constructive to say then don't say anything at all.

Thanx for your time
