How do I talk to people and FF

I press t to talk, nothing happens, I press shift + /, / or any of the other listed commands and nothing happens. I press radio in the menu and still I cannot talk to other people. How do I talk?

Also, someone (KHacket) who was on my team purposely shot me down. Why? Why have friendly fire when people will abuse it?

Sounds strange, does / brings small text chat window when you press it? If yes all you need is to type your text message into the window and press enter. Also in this window you may use dot commands, for example

.radio 1 2

will tune you on your team channel

If you will not be able to settle this issue try to drop in to Training Arena and ask for trainer. If trainer is not available ask for help and explain you problem there, ppl are very cooperative in AH and this way it will be easier to find out what the problem is.

Concerning the fact you was attacked by friendly plane: it may happen only in Training Arena (TA); if you do not want fight there just ask not to mess with you, or symply switch to other field.

In Main Arena if you will fire at friendly planes it will destroy you, not them.

Evil,

There should be no problem in the training area.  Just tell the pilot to not engage.  Many times a squadron will go into the TA and train amognst themselves.  So when you come in , sometimes they will shoot at ya.  Just let them know before ya take off that you do not want to engage.  Peolpe are pretty cool about that!

Also you can ask to JOIN someone.  You will act as a passenger in their plane.  It's pretty neat.  One guy named Crow joined me one night and we had a ball.  I actually got some kills!  Rare treat!

You should consider that it is not always the "/"-key, but the one, that is direclty left to the right shift-key.
On the german keyboard it is the "-" (minus) - key for example.

That should work perfectly, at least it does for me...
