Q: Good / Bad match up?
« on: November 02, 2004, 09:46:38 AM »
Hello

A-Hem!  This is NOT a CT setup proposal!

So, I was looking a AH hangar list and thinking by myself, what if...

Bishops
T34
M16
Hurri Mk2D
Spitfire Mk1
M3 and/or C47

Knights
Panzer
M8
IL2
Bf 109E
M3 and/or C47

GV's need a Jabo support and Jabo's need escort fighter support... Each type
has a important role.

What you think? Fair or Poor match up?

Im just curious about your opinion.

Thanks

Lol.  Will have to try that sometime, see if it's possible for the Spit to shoot down the IL2.

Otherwise I think this would be a fun setup, one I've considered myself in a slightly later period.  Emil v. the spit is usually something of a challenge, but, as Grunherz noted, you'll probably need to use the Hurri to shoot down the IL2s.

My thoughts exactly.

A round or two of 40mm should take care of an IL2 quite nicely. :)

TY for your feedback.

Last IL2 in AH2 I was shooting down with Hurri.... Mk1... at ~d175 range... with d175 conver.   It didnt take too long tracking shot.

But

Spit Mk1's 8*.303cal are very picky for conver / shooting range. More difficult than "eazy mode" Hurri Mk1.
