B-24J "Chute the Works" number 44-40302.

7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group, 431st Bombardment Squadron

This one means a little more to me because of the sentimental value.  I knew the waist gunner and spent a lot of time talking and hunting with him for several years until he passed.

Again, any and all feedback welcome!

I know of the following mistakes:
Anti Glare panel is just masked, not finished
Serial number is backwards on tail
No USAAF star and bar insignia on fuselage

Thanks. :)

Im going to add a dirt layer, completely skipped my mind last night.

Fixed the numbering on tail and the anti-glare panel.

Ok, fixed just about everything.  I scratched the dirt layer.  I couldn't get the look I wanted without going pixel by pixel.  I may go back and look at it later.

Only thought I have is that the nose art looks just a bit small compared to the photo.  The bomb symbols are closer to the pilots window, the blonde's head is just about to the corner of the windscreen and her backside is up against the red rectangle for the fire extinguisher.

Other then that, it looks great and it's got a story behind it.  The best kind of skin :)

Ahhh, thank you.  I completely missed it.  Guess thats what happens after you look at something for 6 hours straight. :)

I also noticed that the nose art is too far forward towards the nose.  I'll go back and fix that too.

How does the nose art look now?  I think I got it right.

Now all I need to do is final touches.

I think I finally got the bare metal look down, unless its the built in shine factor. :D

I've been trying, for the life of me, to figure out how to cut the shine from the B-24 skin. I was able to get a nice dull finish on the F4F and FM2 on skins I was working on for Rangoon but this puppy is obstinate.
