Water effects
« on: November 02, 2004, 12:35:04 PM »
Not sure if this is a bug or not...When I turn on the water effect my frame rate drops from high 60's to mid teens.  Has anyone else seen this or is my sys just crazy.

thanks

your not the only one. I lose fps with animated water too. I just leave it off. Not even close to being worth the frame  rate hit

try checking your driver settings.
If you have Antisotropic Filtering enabled(in the Driver),turn it off. Did the trick to me.

well I turned off the antisotopic (sp) and I still get the same f/r drop.  Oh well...life goes on.
