I live in Nevada and it's 10:30 PM and Nevada is not even close to being called.

California with 30 fold the population was called 2 hours ago.

Is Cali just a Gimmie to the Dems?  Do they even count the votes?
It is so heavily populated and amung the last to close here on the West Coast and they counted them THAT FAST?

WTF?

My brother who's in vegas right now is interested in NVs elections.  Yahoo only has Kerry ahead by 2000 votes.  Iowa has now turned towards bush!

IIRC, I think something like 25% of their votes are counted by hand.

Hey!   It was late and the team of horses to bring in the ballots from the last few hamlets were sleeping. They spent most of the day hauling logs to the mill, so give them a break!

Seriously I dont know why we are so slow. Frankly Im ashamed that we voted like the rest of the northeast. In talking with a few older folks today, it seems the reason "they" voted for Kerry was they were afraid Bush would take away Social Security. Scare tactics played on the elderly wins again for the democrats.

Boston can hold their heads high though...Pats win superbowl, Sox win World Series, Kerry...well...two outta three aint bad!
