Warpy game
« on: November 03, 2004, 06:50:46 PM »
 The game is warpy and if I key the mic. it freezes.  I have high speed cable but my frame rates are often low.  Can someone tell me how to fix this?   Also I seem to have rubber bullits.  Thank you

This could be multiple things.  The freezing when using the mic is indicative of the sound card running too high hardware acceleration level.
The sound card could also be sharing an interrupt with another high data usage device, such as the network or video card.  Sounds cards do not share interrupts well.
If you could send me a DXDIAG output, it might help shed some light on this.

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I toned down the hardware excelerator and it seems to have helped.  I still have warping issues tho.  What is DXDIAG output and how do I get the information to you??

go to Start/run and then type in Dxdiag

let this run then do all the video/sound tests
after on the front/1st page it will have save info button ... clic this it saves a notepad file to the desktop .. email this to Skuzzy see addy above.
