Any chance someone could post some (a) screenshots of "good" joystick configurations (not talking about stick/key mapping..you know what I mean).  Pretty new to the game here and this joystick stuff has always baffled me (in "other" sims)

hey swamprat,

i have the same js, and would be glad to help you out...  i just don't really understand what you're asking for... i'm at work right now but if you e-mail me at mdirecto@sympatico.ca and let me know what it is exactly you want, i'll do my best to help you out when i get home tonight.

oh and if you haven't asked already, NO this game does NOT support forcefeed back... YET...

hope to hear from you later,

Ya hblair...the sliders.  My stick tends to jump around alot, due to age I'm sure, and I knew how to get it to calm down in Air Warrior but these sliders have me a little cornfused.  Rather than spend a day trying to figure it out, I'm just looking for a pic or two of folks who have them custom configured to get me started.

oh..err, I do know how to do the damping/deadband thing to minimize the stick jumping around.  If the default stuff on the rest of the slider's is recommended then thats ok but I have a feeling the stick settings are highly "tweakable" and would really like to see some examples along with what that particular config does.  learning by trial and error really.

Yo SwampRat,

this is my setting for the MS FFB, I have the same slider setting for Roll, Pitch, Rudder and Throttle.

I am not sure if this is the best setting but it works fine for me.
If you want me to, I can send you the stick.cfg too, if this works ?
