Can I get a "how to" on sinking Aircraft Carriers from a bomber?
« on: December 24, 2001, 08:15:00 AM »
I know alot of people just do heavy fighter kamikazes, but that's not my style.

For a bomber, what's the....Best alt, best approach, ord ammount, how much to lead at 20k etc.  Thanks.

Any of the hvy or med bombers do a great job on killing ships.

You'll need 10k of alt minimum. As a general rule I lead the target 1 ship's length (cv or cruiser length that is) per every 10k.

Best approach is from the stern, but a bow's on approach also works.

You'll want to drop at least 3k, so set your salvo accordingly

Lanc does a super job with fleets as it can sink both CV & Cruiser with one pass with practise.

Thanks Ghosth, so it's 3k each to sink the CV and the Cruiser?
