well.... if we had done nothing... the sadman would still be butchering and torturing his people at a prodigious rate... we would have to do the smart thing and ratchet up our training of our troops to unpredcedented levels in the deserts of California and the oceans... we would probly lose about 500 soldiers a year in this intense training..  

I don't know how it would all work out but it still seems we are doing the right thing.   We are at least trading lives for something.

Actually, I believe it's mocking the media that last posted "100,000 Iraqis dead... mostly women and children" based on the results of a scientific "telephone poll" of nearly 100 Iraqis just prior to the elections.
