The woman has breast cancer. It's a painful, often deadly, disease. No politics involved.

My point in posting this thread was to stress that people would do well to really think twice before saying something on an open channel - a GAME CHANNEL of all things. And, comments like Morpheus' are best left in the boy's high school locker room, too.

Don't like whats being said on channel 200 TURN IT OFF is that to hard to grasp?

Send screen shot to HTC not post part of conversation on bbs to try to show your point.

This is funny i've seen some of you that are accussing morh and corba of saying things that offend you or may offend others. Say things like Running grapefruit, lagay7, Bitach among other comments on 200. But hey he said cancer only my feelings count.

First let me say that anyone in the same squad as Exj, has to be a good person at heart or I doubt EXj would bother flyin with them.

That said, I almost lost my old man to throat cancer this summer and am also guilty of over reacting to anything cancer related. After dealing with that "c" crap, it's far too easy for me to take things outta context and jump the gun.

In a sense you guys are right, ch 200 is a channel u have to seek out and tune in, and not a channel that a new player would see and possibly quit the game due to stuff said on that channel. I just somehow wish that overall, there would be no need for lowbrow crap. A good smack talk about ACM and how u wooped soeone's prettythang is fine banter to me, but hurtfull trash talk on a wide scale , I feel is uncalled for in the world of aviation.

We are playing a game that keeps the actions of our aviation heroes alive, try and type stuff you'd feel comfortable with them reading.

I think we often forget how real death is when playing a game like this, you simply dont get too "re-up" in life.

If you've ever had to look into the eyes of someone who's dieing and try and cram the next 30 or 40 yrs into a few brief words you'll never approach a topic like cancer again with this type of BS. Sometimes classy people make classless comments.

It's not my place to judge someone on this or any other singular event. However, to needlessly attack someone for a personal tragedy beacuse they are in"the spotlight" is a classless act...end of subject.

All of you who have walked in the shadow of death as a visitor have my condolences...

I was one of those people. I said earlier that I am a fan of Ch. 200 despite its faults.

Please note that NO ONE here is asking for the Channel to be closed or moderated. It should be left to each community member to understand which subjects & comments are acceptable. It's all a learning process.
