It just isnt with GV's. It also happens with aircraft. A squad mate shot down an aircraft and didnt get the kill. And I have as well. You shot the plane, it blows up nad you do not get the kill or the perk point. Now if someone says well the disconnected themselves. Then if you get discon because you get booted then why do you lose the perk points.

If you damage an enemy plane that discos you will get the kill awarded.
However you have to watch the text buffer carefull as it usually takes a few minutes before it pops into view.

Hmmmm, yesterday evening (euro time) I shot down an F4U that ALT-F4'ed but I didnt get any kill awarded even after a long flight back to my airfield.

I had a T-34/76 with the muzzle within 10ft of a Tiger I's rear and I could not hurt the Tiger I.  I hit it with 5 or 6 AP rounds before trying to get away from the Tiger I so that others could get at it without KSing on me.  The Tiger I disabled me with 1 hit and killed me with the next.

So far as I can tell, the Tiger I is immune to the T-34/76.

I have noticed some very odd Tiger armor strength when firing at one from very close range, like less than 20 yards even in a Panzer IV.  Ive had bounces and non penetrating 90 degree shots  on the front and side even at such close ranges. The only relible killing shot seems to be to aim at the 60mm lower hull armor above the tracks and below the hull overhangs.

Regardless of whether it is a GV or aircraft we are not being awarded kills that we should have been

Exactly the same last night. I was 50 away from a Tiger in a Panzer. I was running circles around him firing AP rounds at point blank range. His turret was slowly gaining on me, but I got in at least 8 shots on his sides, turret, back and front. Absolutely no damage effect.

Of course he finally got a bead on me, one shot, I'm dead.

I agree there is something wrong with close proximity damage to a Tiger. It's as if your rounds fly through them without exploding.
