It has to be fairly recent as I know there wasn't one done for a long time and the 479th vets were in essence protecting their stories until they found the right guy.

When I talked to Kyle Riddle back in the AW days thats essentially what he told me when I was asking about it.

Haven't ordered my copy yet, but probably next payday.

There is a 370th FG History now too which adds two more 38 groups to the collection.

Need a 474th FG, 14th FG, 54th FS, and some of the 13th AF 38 groups do do histories now to complete the 38 group collection.

Sure is good to see some of the books released lately dealing with WWII that until this point has not been told by the ones who were there.
