If I do not erase my video config file it resets to 1024x 768 which is not playable , I have to run 640 x 480

what I see here in your DX file is Some very Old video drivers

"( Driver Version: 4.13.0001.9069 (English)
DDI Version: 8
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 10/19/2002 22:05:26, 94144 bytes)"

Heres what Im currently running (these are the 4.7 cat's for win98se )
 Driver Version: 4.14.0001.9138 (English)
      DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
 Driver Date/Size: 7/12/2004 21:29:30, 95456 bytes

Your Drivers arnt Even set up to run DX9 so I have a feeling its reverting back to DX8 standards and setups .. This probely isnt the only DX9 Game that you cant run/having problems with.

The driver date on your sound card is also pretty old at 9/28/1999.  Try updating all your drivers.

I don't play many games,,,,just AH2 now,,,, so I would not have noticed any slow down.  I changed the drivers in the Video and sound cards and everything works like a champ!!

Amazing difference!

Thanks so much I really appreciate your help,,,,
