http://www.answersthatwork.comFullguy,
Sorry I have not gotten back to you since my last post.
Go to the above website and see what processes you have running when you bring up Task Manager. Then look at your processes and cross reference those with what you find on the site and see what they are used for. Some processes you HAVE to have running and some you can turn off. Also, you may be able to find some spyware/malware programs running on task manager.
Also go to your Control Panel and bring up add/remove programs. See what programs you have on your computer. If you see something that looks funny or suspicious, write the program down and let us know what it is. I am NOT an expert at this and I am a computer dweeb. I had Roy help me out ALOT. I for instance found several programs on add/remove programs that I DID NOT install. They were spyware that was installed unbeknown to me. Yes, it does happen and will happen if you are not careful.
The above site has the processes listed in alphabetical order. Take for instance winlogon.exe. Obviously its listed under the "W" tab button on the site. Go over each and every process that is listed on your task manager and cross reference with the site to see what they are. The site will tell you if it is safe to turn off or leave a specific process running.
When I log on to my computer I have programs that start when I boot up. Like Kodak,McAfee Virus,Nvidia, and others. I just right click on those programs on my system tray at the lower right on my screen and exit those programs when I want to run AH2.
Once again sorry I was so late returning your question. I was off for two days of duck hunting. Best of luck with everything and please let us know how you are doing with your system. I really hope this helps you out.
Take care.........................
..............Joe
