Hiya,
Try fully uninstalling the sw for it if you use it
Somert like uruninstaller or alike

Redo directx

Redo sw if used for stick

Recal in windose

This is of course after checking the stick etc is default in ah

If still same probs i guess ya best strip stick n clean all gummings inside

Take ya time if ya have too and either digicam as ya take apart or sketch (i meant as an aid if needed if unsure)

Clean lense with detergant/water or alcohol etc, Remove any gunge fluff etc

Around the trigger hat assemblies you will no doubt be amazed at the amount of skin matter/gunge etc  lol

Now if this fails i'd say run a meter along cable to see if constant moving/usage has twisted n fubared the wiring (easy to replace if it has

Directx has fubared on me a few times when i've used some reg cleaners so it's worth a try at least

Hope ya sort it ohh and while your at it if the sticks took apart re-stretch the spring a bit it will take any usage/slack up ;)

I guess if ah etc if at defaults its in need of a good clean on hat switches etc

LOL spelt alcohol wrong  sheesh i bad

HI,

I've had this happen to me too b4, try uninstalling SW software, restart then reinstall. Also try remapping the functions in the   SW control panel and in setup in game.  If that doesn't work, go tho the AH2 directory  and delete the "stick.cfg" file. You'll loose all your mapping though, but it works.

You might also try a visual inspection of the internal HAT mechanism. I just reglued a broken palstic retainer clip inside and now it works fine.  Go slow and think it thru while you disassemble/reassemble the handle.

good luck:D

just realized youve gotta map each axis including throttle, hat view and rudder individually into the keymap thingie under controls udner setup, did that, works fine, thanks for input tho.
