That was the best flight I've had in AH in over a year. I didn't get the film turned on, sorry.
I have to admit that I was a wee bit tipsy and although I tend to play the game better in that state, I was a bit on the backside of that curve so parts of the fight are... shall we say... blurry?
The best part was I had initially just taken off and didn't have any real objective, but I kept gravitating to you and that worked way better than either of us could have expected. When I ran out of ammo, all I could think of was "where's lazer, he'll bail me out!"
The really funny thing is, after you cleared me, I revved to scare another bandit off of someone's 6 even though I had no ammo. It worked and then a bit of common sense entered my mind so I finished running home (skirts up and all) and landed the kills.
Landing 6 kills isn't something I do very often even in my uber-ki-84. That fight was insane. Everywhere I looked there was someone who needed their 6 cleared and oddly enough, that worked and I think that's how I got most of those kills. I never did count how many bandits there were but it seemed like everywhere I looked there were tons of red cons and occasionally a green Lazer ident in the middle of it. Way fun, and I'm glad you were there
Oh yes, I almost forgot... Dogfights in canyons and steep rolling terrain RULE! I don't know how many times I almost augered and I know I saw at least 4 bandits auger chasing one of us.
