HT, even more interesting fuel bug
« on: November 15, 2004, 12:44:01 PM »
had a Tiff, ditch on ground ded engine due to radiator hit, no other damage.  while sitting there i noticed fuel kept going down.
E6B showed i was losing 46 gph. thought maybe it was due to damage to plane, so i reupped new Tiff, cut engine off on runway
, still showed 46 gph usaged.   i got curious, upped other planes on runway, cut engine off, and all them showed  fuel usage with engine off. amount of used fuel differed but all had it.

GPH might have shown, but did the actual quantity of fuel remaining go down?
I don't know what to put here yet.

that is not good then

these are pretty harsh bugs in the fuel model, and my hats off to Hitech and the others probably digging furiously into tons of code looking for the anomoly.

<> sirs and madams, keep up the hard work, and we do appreciate your work.
