How many airbases are just plonked in the middle of nowhere, with no fences, or anything around them?

Would be cool if airbases had chainmail fences round them, guardhouses, more roads going to them, roads connecting the town to the base etc. :)

Man ... those would be wicked expensive ... now CHAIN LINK fences ... those would be more affordable ... ;)

I'm all for guardhouses so long as we can strafe them and make little guards scurry in fear.  Then we could strafe the little running men and turn them into piles of goo under the relentless pounding of our machine guns and cannons.

Then make orphanages and retirement homes.  And for the love of God, give us some napalm.

I think it would look cool, but what about friendly or enemy GVs driving on the field?  Could they drive through the fences ( like the fences being transparent) or would you have to go through the gate, show your papers to the guard who is scurrying from Levi's spit, and hang the parking sticker on the rearview mirror of my tiger?

Better yet, Howitzer, maybe HTC could model flamethrower tanks.  Then you could just drive right on up to retirement home and let 'em have it.  Machine gun anybody trying to escape the blazing inferno.
