What part of "fly" did you children not understand?

Around here, the bug-eating plant is the pitcher plant.  Here is a whole field of them.  It was a nice place to camp~ not a mosquito in sight!

I guess it is inevitable that as kids we all killed those kinds of things, I know I did, and my kids do too.  Our pet graveyard is encroaching into the yard.

Hey! I did the Sea Monkeys thing again1 year ago. This time they lived...I guess you need to be at least 30 to be able to grow them.

They lived so well that I got fed up with those ugly critters after 3 weeks...they ended up feeding the goldfish.

My daugher thinks we have a pet graveyard in the yard.

To date it only contains 1 siameese fighting fish that she wouldnt let me feed to the turtles.

The rest. including a lizard, several fish, a bird and a couple of cats first were carefully wrapped in a wardrobe of black plastic, temporaily placed in a large green sarcophagus before being transported to that great graveyard known as the county landfill.

Only the Dog may end up getting buried in the yard.
but never the cats.

Cats are little more then disposable commodities and should be treated as such

Ours has 3 turtles, 1 betta, assorted other fish, snakes, birds and lizards (the last three category are cat victims).  I quit burying larger animals in the yard about 10 years ago when I hit a cache of dead dogs in plastic bags in the yard of a house I was installing a pond in.
