So we're attacking port 47. Kill the acks, and they're back in 20-30seconds. Kill'em again, they're back up before the gooney bird can be called in.
Whels was spawning from the carrier in an LVT, dropping base supplies, doing an immediate .ef, and respawning with more supplies. Made it absolutely impossible to capture the port. Killing the carrier and all support ships makes no difference, because LVTs and PT boats can still spawn even if all ships are sunk, and the fleet apparently spawns close enough to P47 to still spawn LVTs just offshore.
Ways to combat this...
a fleet can not resupply the port it comes from.
make the LVTs wade shore to drop supplies (supplies sink in water and are destroyed).
don't let resupply affect ack regen.
additionally, the fleets need a troop/supply ship included that can be sunk to prevent troops/supplies from being available.
Or troops/supplies are not available once a carrier has reached a certain damage level (troops/supplies being used for damage control and can't leave the ship).
