That's true. But luckily my wife is an unofficial member of our squad and she let's me fly as long as it doesn't interfere with other things.

Haven't asked to go to the Con yet, but I can anticipate what will happen next year when I do.

Mine brings me food and drinks as well. She knows I love it, and lets me enjoy myself. Id say I balanced my time right, but Id be lying. Ive spent way too much time online over the years. Somehow she keeps lovin me

Its a good line but only got me so far. I hosted a Grave Diggers barbecue this past summer and the wives were discussing strategies - it was pretty funny. I use the line now "But I'm on a Mission, I can't log, I got the troops (Even when I'm in a bomber)

." Of course I had to make concessions here and there but I guess I am fortunate - My old lady doesn't get home until 6:00 normally. I usually get home from work at 4:00 so I can sneak 2 hours in at least. Also I adopted my fathers rule which was Sunday afternoon is ME TIME. I either watch Football or Fly - take it or leave it. My wife did admit that it is nicer to have me home than to be out with the drunks in the Police Pipe Band on Monday Nights and Weekends. Only advice I have is "Switch all power to front deflector screens."

11 years happily married!! If I asked my wife "which would you rather have...?" She would say "Neither!" I would want....!" My wife is very understanding. She understands that this is fun time for me. As long as I don't spend tooo much time on the computer everything in my house is great. Sometimes she acts as flight attendant and brings me food when I'm flying!:aok I've found (and firmly believe) as others have said 1.) A happy wife is the best thing in the world. 2) It is hard to explain how one can build a friendship over the internet unless you've done it. Try including her as others have said. Have some wine/beer/Jack Daniels and have her be a gunner or bomber or just sit with her an say goofy stuff like "OH!OH Watch this!!" Part of the problem with on line chat is the bad rap from the news and its relation to porn etc. Once she realizes how really innocuos and funny this is she should lighten up. If not you have a choice. Her or AH! I'm sure you'll miss her:rofl

at the end of the day, Marriage is a lost art in this day and age anyway, no matter how good you are, there will always be someone or something that looks better.
