The Type 99 Magnatic Charge, is(was) an Anti Tank Weapon, the magnets held it aganst the hull (or anything else you wanted to stick it on...like a fridge door...and then the charge was set off by Striking the head of the detonator with a sharp blow, starting a 5-6 second fuse. The Type 99 is only about 4-5 inches in diamater, and about 1 1/2 inches thick. The Disposal charge and it's detonator are for as the name sugests disposing of the Type 99. Note the Fuse for the Type 99 is obviously removed in the photo, it would normaly be inserted into the hole that can be sean in the side of the Type 99.
