Lol :aok

Been going on four (or five?) years this way with the MA issues.  Nothing changes, few want to do anything other than whine about how no one plays the game the way they want them to play.  I see a pattern.

Not everyone will think each approach is best.  That's ok.  The only way to see if some ideas will work is to try them.

Look at it on another level tho.....

If there are plenty of bases to attack.... plenty of other things that can be accomplished.....  why if one of your own countrymen asked you to leave a CV up so they could enjoy fighter vs fighter fights, would you not just salute them and go hit something else?

MY GOD!   someone here has more than 3 braincells!

All who are discussing the issue still:

please note that my only complaint was that

A) I politely(initially) asked them to leave the CV up, and they refused.

B) the precious base was under no threat.

that guy who posted the pic from the '6th  sense' is a good example of why we wont hear the last of this topic, ever.

EDIT:

EDIT#2: and if they had sunk it from 10,000ft i would not have been so sore.

suicide bombing from 1k 20 times just to stop me furballing?

thats over the top.

yep... an endless supply of skilless suicide fluffers hitting a field or cv that is far off the beaten path and of no strategtic use that anyone can see but is the center of a bunch of low slow planes all mixing it up....  well... that kinda chafes.   That is kinda hard for the furballers to understand.   It is extremely difficult for the furballers involved to garner any small amount of respect for such "strat".    Things begin to feel lopsided.... a huge pool of talent having their enjoyment ruined by a few of extremely limited talent and skill..

fix that and you fix the problem.

Maybe.... just maybe.... if we all take a moment to close our eyes and wish really hard, this problem will go away!!  :rofl

If that works, let’s try the same thing with spam email, viruses, and spyware!!

Some people get their 'fun' from antics which deliberately spoil others 'fun'.   Asking them to stop just encourages them.  Sorry if I am being a kill joy here.

It's not my fault BatFink... I terminated my account and I gained a  brain cell or two.  No one warned me that that could happen ! :lol

stantond... you are of course correct.   there is no way to get people to respect other peoples fun... I for instance won't help a field capture unless it is to my advantage.... hell.... I would shoot down a fluff or suicide bomber team mate that was trying to sink the enemy CV at a good fite.

I would but... The game has been laid out so that I can't spoil that persons fun effortlessly...

that is how it works and that is/was the point of my post where I asked for a small area that couldn't be ruined by the guys who do that sort of thing when they are not mailing out a virus or spam.

HT does not agree with me tho so it is moot... the point remains tho... yu can do something about it especially in a controlled envioronment.   I am sure that HT will come up with some gameplay aspect that will balance things out.

until then... some will enjoy the game a lot more and some will enjoy it a lot less.

Computer System - $2,650
AH Subscription - $15
CH Joystick / Throttle Setup $210
Computer Desk $400
Chair $100
Cable Modem $40
Joystick you throw against the wall that needs to be replaced because some 12 year old just killed you with one shot while you were in a Tiger $110
Bottle of Glenfiddich 20 year Reserve that you just opened because puffy ack shot your engine out, your bleeding oil with 7 kills, and landing at home base is not happening - $80

Killing someone that just trashed you on A Channel - PRICELESS!
(Better than landing X amount of kills in X craft).

Wife nagging you that you are an immature idiot for playing a computer game at 2:00 in the morning - SPEECHLESS.

Remove killshooter.   That'll allow teammates to end their arguments about this in a manly fashion.

shukins... a perfect example.   I would love to shoot down countrymen who were tuining my fun.   The game is designed tho so that I can't

If I could tho.... would it be fair for them to get on here and claim that the game was being ruined?   would it be fair for me to say that they were being silly and that I liked all types of gameplay and didn't see why they couldn't do something else when their efforts were ruined by a countryman?

It's all balance..   those with the advantage allways feel that the game has finally achieved ballance.

i cannot stop him therefore i cannot ruin his.

that is not entirely true mechanic... you can circle around waiting for the suicide porker and never get into a decent fight ever again..

u would be doing the rest of us furballers a big favor tho since we could enjoy the game off of your sacrafice... All we have to do is find some strat guy who likes circling around the fight waiting for suicide bombers.

What could be simpler or more fair?
