Anything is better.

Another option I use is Opera.

I like FireFox better the IE. Seems somewhat faster on my PC and has pop up blockers and more goodies.

there about equal...

the one or two things that it does better is  counterballanced by the sheer difficulty of getting plugins to actually work...

I've been using Firefox since v0.3 (was called Phoenix or something then...), that's over two years now. Haven't had too many problems, with flash or plugins. (Oh, for flash, download the player and it should work just fine).

Before Firefox I used Opera, before that Netscape, and before Netscape I used Mosaic, so I haven't been using IE much...

Ive tried to install the flash player alot of times over the last few months but it just doesnt work. it tells me that it works when i install it, but it doesnt.

Swedish and Finnish "Goverments" went out and warned people or rather incourege them not to use IE due to the latest security hole that still havent been patched by MS.
