28 days was a crybaby and annoying movie.   I don't go to movies to see stupid people doing stupid stuff.

the people in dawn of the dead acted more..... American and therefore.... better.

lol...sorry but the acting in Dawn of the Dead SUCKED.

Stupid people doing stupid things?  Like the security guy who takes away the cop's and the other guys weapons and then acts like "King of The Mall"?  Or the idiots who allow the old woman who is CLEARLY about to become a zombie into the mall with them.

Oscar winning script...lol.

The people in dawn of the dead acted like a diverse group of people with varying smarts and backgrounds.... the people in 28 days all acted like sissies and morons.

Just watched the Grudge with GF. I wasn't scared because I am rocks and ten tonne. But girlfriend did nothing but hide behind her hands or dig her nails into my arm. Think that means it was good.

I enjoyed it. Good story.

BTW, SOB, thanks for trying to let banana know about holding back Diplomacy. Managed to get a turn in. You Dutch poof. ;)

BTW, Dawn of the Dead sucks.

You need to see Shaun of the Dead. Not sure if it is out in the US yet.

they live on a freakin island and the zombies don't swim but these brits can't figure out that a boat anchored 75 feet from shore would be zombie proof?

They finally get ahold of a gun aned they.... throw it away?

dawn of the dead was a masterpiece... American to the bone.

I liked them both, however it should be noted that it only took a bite to become a zombie in Dawn of the Dead, whereas if my memory serves 28 Days later was a virus hence only blood transfer was required. Also being Britain, you more likely to find a cricket bat, than a guy ontop of his gunstore with a sniper rifle (alot of good it did for Andy too!

At the end of dawn, Ving Rhames and co.  didn't escape as the island they sailed too had zombies (plus their supplies were gone)

tronsky... bet I could find a gun in any country you dropped me in especially if I had the run of the place...

In Dawn of the dead there were masses of zombies... in 28 days they were pretty spred out.   still.... why didn't they simply float around in sight of land?     In dawn of the dead... the guys with guns eventually win out and find the guy in the gun stores video camera.

Lazs is referring to the "extras" on the DVD.

In one of the extra clips a videotape is shown after it was found during a sweep of the area after the zombies had been "beaten".  It was Andy from the gun store's video.

My synopsis:

Great beginning (balcony scene), creepy at times and had the wife and I jumping, LOUSEY ending.

Avert eyes if you have not seen the movie and want to:

She survived the fire she set at the end.  How?  Under investigation???!!!!  That was weak ass.

Then surprise surprise...they saved the house and then the creepy chick shows up at the end.  Weak ass.
