Are we going to get new clipboard maps to reflect the actual field layouts?

I doubt it ... I believe that once the new TE is put out, people will be able to make their own airfields ... so trying to create an icon to match the layout would be difficult at best.

Now that sounds great. Every field would be different. If this is the case I am seeing less and less reason for HUGE maps. Those big maps seem to always get stuck in the same couple bases going back and forth until 1 side gets double teamed or is so outnumbered they can no longer defend the vast expanse of territory. Small and medium maps seem to me to be more fun and exciting.

If you are gonna change ir up take a picture of it.

Its not that difficult to make a 512 x 512.

Do you really think that every base will be unique?

Are there that many people capable of turning in a map that will be accepted?

Why not make it a prerequisite that maps for field layout be provided and documentation on any unusual features be noted. If map designers know this from the git-go they can work this in as they go.;)
