Pink Spits
FR-IXe 16 Sqn 1944
Fully armed fighter/recce version, used for low alt recce DDay -->.



Just a quick initial test, lower fuse DDay stripes are a beeatch.
Waiting on pic form Dan to do proper weathering.

I remember a documentary on the F-117 on Discovery Wings, where they were interviewing an Englishman (I think) involved with the project.  He was telling a story about how the USAF wanted a stealthy pantjob, and how he kept telling them pink was scientifically far superior to black as air camo, but for some reason the USAF refused to use pink for their new stealth fighter. :)
