Well, to some people, when an accident like this is heard about they may tend to think he was attempting to "cook" methamphetamine. I've heard of some people, who in a pinch, can use a lava lamp for just such a procedure because the bulb generates just the right temperature. When people also here of this happening on a stove-top, possibly under a ventilation hood then that raises eyebrows.

Of course I wouldn't know about such things 'first hand'

BUT since the report states that no drugs were found myabe the poor guys bulb was just burnt out and he was merely trying to heat the liquid with the stove.....I dunno
